Soggy doggies

You can't really tell from this picture but we got caught in the mother of all rain showers this morning. Basil was okay as he was in his pushchair at the time with the hood up but Polly and I got completely soaked despite cowering under a tree for quite some time. I had to change all my clothes when we got back and Polly took the best part of the day to dry out.

In other news, Basil had his beard successfully trimmed at the vet's, I got the ball rolling for my next round of radiocarbon dating (of skeletons), and I had a good ride out with the Easy Riders. I think we'll only manage two more evenings now as the nights are really drawing in.
