Jewel in the Crown

After a full day working at an assessment, we had a meal at an Indian restaurant this evening.

The meal was very nice, and very filling. The decor was so over the top as to be blippable. Gold painted skirting and dado rails, enormous chandeliers, seats like thrones in the entry area. And of course a crown on the wall.

Now hoping to at least partially digest the meal before retiring to bed, otherwise I'll be disturbed by indigestion during the night.
