Incredibly wet day in Barcelona today as the skies opened and gave us all a thorough soaking

Pizza for lunch and a delicious sugary coffee slushy type ice drink. Had a beer in a German style bar!

I have several large red circle on me after being bitten by mosquitoes again last night. Hope I have a better time of it tonight.

Walked nearly 9 miles today and explored the Universitat district and Raval, briefly too in Las Ramblas and it was quieter than usual because of the rain,

Had an amazing Matcha Tea flavoured ice cream this after noon and a scrumptious turmeric, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon, clove and salt blended drink - divine!

Managed to walk back in relative dry conditions and spotted this street art on my wanderings
