Girls Allowed

This little green bag is allowed to be threadbare. It is at least a hundred years old and belonged to J's "Little Gran" (previously mentioned...) when she was stepping out in her early twenties.

She'd have been chuffed to bits to reflect on what her four great granddaughters are up to today...

- A (#1) working on call for the transplant lab in Manchester,
- R (#2) living it large in London - she's gone down to be with mates she used to work with,
- J (#3) presenting a paper about her research at a conference in Athens,
- and finally, F (#4) in Paris after cycling there from Brighton with her best mate from Falmouth/Bristol.

Little Gran was one of the toughest cookies I've ever met and never, ever swaggered.

Nor do any of her female offspring...They've always left that up to the blokes.
