momo is my new friend. i enjoy her. she is the subject in this photo. this was the first night we hung out. it worked out well id say.

i am surprised by how easy it is to meet people here. when i was in edinburgh i was very lonely. and even though i was in class with people, i found it difficult to make friends. ive already met people i love here. i am not lonely at all.

as i was leaving church someone said, "courtney!" it is a beautiful moment, to be recognised in an unfamiliar city. it is especially beautiful when it happens at a church. the world feels smaller and smaller to me. it makes me feel at home in berlin, to be recgonised by someone, by anyone.



the ice has finally melted. the sun shines, but still cold. its still cold as ever.

i need to find a job. i havent put much effort into it. but i should as i really want to stay here in berlin.
