Wood cauliflower

An all day walk with the spaniel on the South Downs near Goodwood in West Sussex today. Called in at Lavington Common on the way home and found this massive Wood Cauliflower growing beneath a Scots Pine. It was about 40cm across and 25cm high. Any resemblance to a cockerpoodle rolling around is fortuitous.
