Medieval Jousting

Today after church we went to see some jousting on a hill fort in Old Sarum.  When we got there we saw one of the knights ,the one in the picture, getting into armour. It was the red knight of the south.  After that we sat in the shade until the jousting began. When it was done my brother and I did some pretend archery. Then we all went to explore the ruins of a castle built by William the Conqueror. Then we went home.
