Keep Calm and act like you know what you are doing. This was my mantra when I agreed to shift a computer and a phone from one desk to another. It seemed to work for me. The hardest part of the job was trying to reach the sockets down the back of the desk which made ominous chipboard cracking noises when I tried to move it.
