I bumped into him in D.C. where he was on tour with a group of vets. He served in Vietnam from 1966 to 1967 and I now forget (shame on me) in which branch of the army he served.

He was standing just outside the WW2 memorial with a group of his fellow travelers but he's the only one I really wanted a picture of -- I'm sure you can imagine why. So I did my usual chit chat thing and ask him for a pic. Judging by the ribbing he got from his companions, he'll never hear the end of it :)

The detail, esp on the bear, is infinitely better in large.
