I didn't know what day it was...

Today Himself and I took a run.

We drove to the other side of the country, and stopped at Roslin Abbey.  Last time I had been there, there was  a little gate house outside, and a little lady saying "hello".  And scaffolding outside.

So this time - there's a big car park, lots of ladies behind a posh counter, and an overflow carpark, and a coach park.  And a shop, and a coffee shop. And No Scaffolding.

It's beautiful it is. Tiny, but beautiful.

Then we took a run to Crammond, we were too late for the tide, but we had a wander up the River ALMOND.  :-)  And Saw a Kingfisher.

Then we took a Drive over the NEW BRIDGE, it is Vair Beautiful (See Extra), but needs a footpath.

And on into Dunfermline.   A place which holds a lot of memories for us, not all of them good, but we wanted a visit to a place which held a lot of nice memories - Pittencrieff Park.

We parked and wandered in, and quickly found ourselves at the bottom of the high street.

We decided to walk up there, and back into the Park from the Abbey -  and relived a lot of memories.    Walking back into the park we came to this area.

We sat on the wall and looked - it was exactly as it had been.

We sat there 30 years ago and fed "Guff" the squirrel, held hands, and planned our future.

As we sat there, I could feel us there in another time.

I could feel the excitement, the love, the laughs, the fun and everything to come.

And sitting there now, thirty years on,  that excitement, that love  and laughing and fun and expectancy of even more fun to come is still there.

Thank you for a Lovely, Lovely Day.
