Work after work

I finished work today and went home, we are slowly getting there with the house although still plenty to do even after 2 years of living here.
Today I pulled down all of the wood cladding from the kitchen roof and have to say I wasn't sorry to see it gone, although It was rather worrying seeing how fast it caught alight.
As the neighbours closed their windows I sat on the bench keeping warm and watching the flames with Vinnie (the dog) by my side.
