Spider alert

It must be that time again. This monster was right above my bed this morning. To cut a long lip quivering, squealing story short, Jon got it, eventually and threw him out of the window. The next one I will hoover up.

So off at 7.30 with Jon heading to Cambridge and me to Norwich. It was raining.

Lots of work for me, I am still trying to sort out stuff that came in when I was on holiday. I did process a death in service though - probably my first one of those in 10 years. Not the best bit of the job.

Lunchtime saw me lunching in the office. Too wet to go out. I then worked on until 5.30 as it was my 'late night'.

Home at 6.45 and the house is lovely and tidy, washing up done and dinner being cooked. In Henry's room, at long last the homework he started at the beginning of the holiday has been completed (science formulas written up and stuck on his wall). Mollie had cooked meatballs and spaghetti for dinner. I'm happy to eat anything if someone else cooks! But what will I do after 16th September? :(

I had planned to do some ironing, but also wanted to upload some holiday photos to facebook. 53 photos later, no ironing and its too dark in the conservatory now to do it.

I've just got to book some coach tickets, and then bed!
