Cultural mix
I have been exceptionally bad at blipping recently, but was struck,as I almost had finished my dinner, what an incongruous mix my plate was. It was an attempt to recreate my favourite dish from Barcelona, padron peppers. Ingredients came from local Turkish shop, which I find has excellent fruit and veg, purchased with Swiss francs, and served on my London plates. An eclectic mix. And somewhat tasty, despite not having exactly the right ingredients
