Liberty Hall and The River Liffey

For many years this building, Liberty Hall, was the tallest in Ireland. Built in the 1960's as the headquarters of one of Ireland's largest trades unions, it is now nearing the end of its lifespan and there are plans to demolish and rebuild.
The river of course is the Liffey, which used to be filthy dirty and smelly but is now quite pleasant, even here in the city centre.
The tourist riverboats are a pretty recent addition to the life of the city. Dear old Dirty Dublin, I guess I will miss you from time to time even though I don't want to live within your area any more.
