This beautiful bright day makes a pleasant change after the wild weather of the past few days, though compared to other parts of the country we were let off fairly lightly.

Drymen Library is closed on a Wednesday, so once again Alison has come to the rescue by offering me the use of her computer. Thanks, Alison!

During this laptopless week I have found myself watching more television, doing more crosswords/sudoku and going to bed to read before 11pm, which I only normally do if I'm sick!

Having spoken to the chap who's mending my laptop - new hard disk required - yesterday, I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow. Fingers crossed...
