Ostrich

Which interestingly has nothing to do with the word ostracized. Ostrich stems from the Latin and then old French terms for "sparrow camel", whereas ostracize quite aptly originates from the Greek word ostrakon for broken pottery which the name of the person who should be shunned was written on.
