Cormorant Central

I visited Rutland Waters Nature Reserve with my grandson hoping to get some good shots.  The weather/lighting wasn't ideal, and unfortunately it seems we missed the last of the Ospreys that had migrated to Africa.  However we did see a number of cormorants and got some shots of lapwings (I hadn't appreciated just how colourful these birds are, see extra)
