Bank Holiday Swanday

We went for an impromptu adventure today - our normal swimming pool was packed out when we got there so we decided to make the most of being out. We headed over to Hyde Park to have a dip in the open water pool at the Serpentine. And it was lush! The sun was beating down (we ended up swapping goggles for sunglasses), the swans swam all around us, the water was pleasantly cool once you got used to it. It was simply wonderful. And then home, spending the evening cooking and as some quality time with my girl. A brilliant day.
