More raindrops

Everywhere is so soggy but we have certainly nothing like the problem of some parts of the UK. Raindrops can be beautiful - but if you are battling with sandbags and smelly carpets, it's hard to see anything positive about heavy rain. My heart goes out to those people struggling floods.

My flower mystery is now solved. A friend rang me last night. She had called round on Monday to give me some flowers as a thank you. It was pouring. I wasn't back from Bicester. She didn't have a pen and paper and she intended to ring me.

They are lovely flowers - and it was so kind of her - but part of me is still wishing it had been a handsome and dashing stranger.
