Counting sheep
It's just been a day.... tears for pretty much anything and everything (amazingly, not from me).
We went to the market and as we walked back past the livestock, laden down with our shopping, the eldest was highly, highly unimpressed at not being allowed to get up close and personal. Reasoning with a 2 year old is never going to work, so he wasn't bothered that we couldn't get the push-chair into the hall, and that the push chair had the car key, phone, camera, wallet and lots of shopping - and his brother - in it. Nope. So I was the mother with a wailing toddler walking out of the market.
More tears this afternoon, neither had enough sleep, the youngest is teething, the eldest is, well two... There was one weirdly proud moment when I walked in to find the eldest had taken himself off to the 'naughty step' after the latest set of tears from the youngest. At least he knew he had been naughty.
On the plus side, bed time was easy peasy, both asleep within minutes and I had a nice long evening.
