Returning Home

As it was a birthday weekend, we had decided to stay in a good BnB in Brockenhurst. So whilst we spent most of our time in Highcliffe at my Mum in Laws, we could not avoid the delights of the New Forest. And I was keen for J to enjoy her birthday weekend, although that's always difficult when we are down here. It's an emotional roller coaster.

On our last day, we started off with another brief walk across the heathland. I just love the colour of the heathers and ling flowering everywhere. It is just such a good habitat. And it was amazingly warm - summer is trying at last. Or it is in the south of England.
