Rotherham

This column and the stones are the ruins of a Roman Granary which were part of a Roman fort at Templeborough - Rotherham.

These remains were moved to Clifton Park in 1922 when a steel works was built on the site.

That steelworks closed in 1993 and eventually became the Magna Centre.
