Beacon Fell

Drove to the southern end of Coniston Water - Brown How - for a walk up ne of Wainwright's 'outlying fells'. Nice leg stretch. After some of the more difficult stuff there have been tackling recently this was welcome. For a small fell the views of the Coniston Fells, the lake and south to Morecambe Bay were fab.

Went with a friend and it was good to catch up. She had a fair amount t get off her chest.
