Playing in the dark

I signed up to go on a lighting workshop and night walk on the Water of Leith. I had no idea what I'd actually signed up to but it got me out of the house.

Turns out they're putting on a "Summer's End" event at the end of October which will involve lights and a fire and a journey through the Dells and some interacting with characters from the 'other side of the veil' (it is that time of year after all). So we headed out armed with huge torches, coloured gels, glow sticks, glow in the dark pebbles etc and went for a wander in the woods to experiment how they could be illuminated.

Had a lot of fun and have volunteered to help out on the day and source some extra bits and pieces to decorate the Dells.
