Clacton's Coolest Crew

The secret to a great performance is the crew behind the scenes keeping all the cogs turning, twisting the aerial, adjusting the sound, queuing the music and many other things.

I spent two days communicating via hand signals with Owen and dancing around cables with Nick who between them made my job as guest commentator an easy one.

It was such a pleasure working with BBC Essex presenters Ian and Steve and I think we made a pretty terrific trio.

Clacton Air Show pulled in a great crowd and we had lots of lovely messages on the commentary on the BBC Essex twitter feed. Fantastic flying displays from the air display teams who were a pleasure to commentate. Hoping I'll get an invite back next year!
