A soft landing

A nice little breeze blowing today to lull us into thinking that it's cooler than 30 degrees Celsius! A little downy feather did a little zig-zag dance in the sky before landing on one of my Gaillardia flowers. I dashed in to get my camera before the wind blew the feather away!

Since this is a macro shot, it's difficult to judge size, but this feather is really tiny, like the nail on my little finger.
