Exploring the Caldera

I took the back road to visit my Ma and Pa today.

A beautiful windy road through Tomewin and some of the most magnificent views to take ones breath away.

The clouds were awesome and rumbly bumbly but did not release any of the rain they are holding that we so desperately need at the moment...it's starting to get crispy.

It took 4 times longer this way stopping to take photos and just standing on the edge looking into deep beautiful valleys and off into the distance at the mountain peaks...drinking it all in.

It was hard to choose what to post..I had a couple of successful panos and some beautiful shots of large fields of freshly turned earth leading into the mountain scape of Wollumbin and surrounding peaks.
