Burton

So I've been slacking on my blip and this one, well sucks, but whatever. It's symbolic of what I did EARLIER in the week on umm Tuesday the 6th. After 1 day of work on the 5th I felt it was time to take another vacation day and go snowboarding. I went w/Matt & Nessie and we met some of Matt's friends up there (some place in Kalamazoo, MI - about 3 hours from Chicago).

It was my first time so I had to take a lesson and one of Matt's friends took one with me. Thank god she did because I needed the breaks desperately (she'd do what he showed us and I'd wait then I'd go). I didn't figure out my bindings (the plastic things that snag your boots to the board) until later when I realized they weren't on right which is my ankles were killing me. My boots were brand new and super tight so my right foot KILLED from being squished, but when all was said and done it was a good time (although it was fun). I can't wait to go again.
