Beach Hut Life

Lymington in the morning - wonderful market, and some fine crafts - the church hall was taken over by the local wood carving groups, who were exhibiting. Fantastic doesn't even come close to it.

Then to J's Mum's, which was the reason for our travelling south.

Mid afternoon we walked from her flat across the golf course and along the beach front. Thousands of families were enjoying the bank holiday sea and sunshine. It brought back memories of family trips to the seaside when I was a child.

We caught the ferry to Mudeford Spit and then walked up to Hengitsbury Head. All the beach huts looked occupied. Each one is worth more than our house in the north of England. Which is bonkers. But I can see why families would love to spend time here, it's a lovely spot.

We returned quickly back to my Mum in Laws, for an evening in.
