Dancing in the Rain
After a lot of FaceTime with my kids, especially the son and fiancée in Mizoram, we eventually got out and walked along the boardwalk beside the Tagus - the sun sparkling on the mud at low tide, and all the birds - had forgotten how beautiful the light was there, and was sure that would be my Blip, but...
Just as we arrived home in Mourão, the skies opened and we were treated to a spectacular thunder storm, lightning, even a rainbow, and the rain absolutely tipping down - the land will be so grateful, even the birds were dancing and singing for happiness. I had read an article on the way here about the drought stress that the vines and olive trees were suffering; 79% of Portugal was in a situation of "extreme and severe drought", not to mention all the fires - so you can imagine how thrilled we are, and why this has to be my Blip for today.
The shining mud is in the extra, though - it was special too.
