MonoMonday Challenge - 188 Organic

The days are growing noticeably shorter now.  There is something very peaceful about the early evening light and how it fills a room with organic shadows. 

This time of year I become very sentimental and enjoy the mix of full contrasts.  The change of seasons with the maturation of all that's still on the vine and the inexplicable slide towards the end of the year.  The fresh challenges of a new school year (once upon a time and now shared by my children). The celebration of another year in the wonderful institution of marriage.  A few more days until another birthday.  The languid humidity of late summer and the waiting for cooler days with a sting in the air.  So many expectations and reflections at this time of year...
