Sophie & Lucy, Chilling By The Pool

Our friend, Chris, came down from London today and her daughter, Donna, her partner, Dan, and their daughter, Lucy called in on their way back from Dan's parents' in Cornwall for what has become an annual catch up. Kate & Donna have been friends since they were their daughters' age so Kate, Joel & Sophie came over too.

While the girls were enjoying the paddling pool in the garden, our son Chris & I were enjoying Yeovil's 2-0 home win against promotion favourites Coventry, though the experience wasn't quite as chilled! Having conceded 14 goals in our first three games it was a really good performance / relief to keep a clean sheet and continue to take our chances well.

We all enjoyed a BBQ in the evening and the weather was kind enough to let us sit outside chatting until nearly 11 at night.
