Tour of Britain

While everywhere south of the Tyne seems to be having a lovely hot day - 28 in Lincolnshire I hear - as usual it was grey here, with the odd bit of blue sky appearing. Although it was Windy, it was warm, so I headed over the bridge to call on Chris to see if she wanted a walk.

The bridge has been decorated for the Tour of Britain cycle race which comes through the village on 4 September. I think it used to be called the Milk Race.

Chris had already had her dog walk so I went along the river to Tosson and back home, about 5 miles. I forgot to put on my pedometer. I'm feeling a bit groggy in the mornings with the new meds but I am able to get back to sleep when I wake at 2 and 4 am.
