A family visit to Towneley Woodland walk.

It was cloudy at first, but by noon the sun was shining and the day looked full of promise.
So we went to Towneley Hall and Gardens and explored some new woodland walks with Maria.
The café lunch was very nice, and many people had brought their dogs, as it is perfect for them too.
The big grey poodle, with a family nearby, was mostly sociable apart from occasional high pitched barks when something drew his attention.
I enjoyed my apple pie and ice cream.
The Garden Centre was excellent too. The Gorilla was funny and a photo with him was irresistible!
My feet are aching now, but we clocked up 8,000 steps on the Fitbit.
