Live at the Beacon

Dan Lindau invited me to David Byrne with Annie Clark (St. Vincent)...the next generation of too cool for school indie rock. They were a riot together.. Kind of like Elmer Fudd dancing with Betty Boop. Dreamy and harmonic.. And the girl shreds the guitar. They threw in "Burning Down the House" and a couple of other Talking Heads gems just to keep it real. I love that the Beacon is down the street. It was a beautiful, mild, crystal clear night to walk home and savor it all. Yay for birthday week!
