Late Bloomer

This is the second time since spring that this plant has set blossoms. The summer of this year was hard on it and it's leaves show the wear and tear of a hard fought and successful conclusion to it's growing season.

I can relate.

Today I quit a job I've held for almost 32 years and I will be moving on to another employer for the end of my growing season. I'm hoping for warm days, cool nights, and just enough water to keep me from getting thirsty.
