Brooke's turn

Today is not Brooke's birthday, either, but since she'll be at her dad's house on the 27th, we celebrated her 11th birthday tonight. She requested Granny's soft-boiled-eggs for dinner, which is torn up buttered bread, bits of bacon, and a soft boiled egg all mixed up together. Her cake is the birthday cake version of soft-boiled-eggs... hunks of cake, drizzled white and yellow buttercream frosting, and chocolate covered bacon! Weird, I know. So yummy and funny though.

Carter, who is in the middle, and has a July birthday, was awesome. She baked, drizzled, giggled, ooohed, and ahhhed.

I am in awe of my girls.
