Baptism

Today I was invited to the baptism of the youngest daughter of good friends /neighbours. At their church the minister described baptism in a new way (for me at least). He said baptism for a child was similar to a wedding ring in marrige. It is a symbol indicating a promise. Baptism being a picture of the promise of sins forgiven waiting to be accepted.
I was invited back to their home for delicious home cooked buffet lunch and enjoyed meeting other neighbours as well as family and friends. A very special day
