Nicola's Visit

Got up promptly and sorted the necessary housework, before popping tomSainsbury's. As well as food for the weekend, we aim tomremstart the diets on Tuesday, so needed to get salads, fruit etc in ready to make packed lunches and breakfasts!

No soone had we unpacked the grub than Nicky and Kevin arrived. It was five years apparently since we last saw them, but they had not changed a bit. They are both complete dinosaurs when it comes to modern technology. They do have very basic mobile phones that text and call but that is it! No wifi, no tablets, definitely no social media and only 4 channels on the TV. We,reminisced, we laughed, it was like those five years had disappeared. A friend from workmpopped in with husband and dog after driving from Maidstone to walk the dog on the beach, and that too was fun.

We went to The Pilot for a meal and home to bed. A good day.
