Sunday Sunflower.....

According to the weather forecast it is a scorcher, the hottest bank holiday for a long time, 28 degrees ! Aye right, in Englandshire maybe . A nearly dry day here with an odd drizzle shower tonight.
Baled up all the grass I cut on Friday, but wee brother won't let me cut any more until we see how much rain comes tomorrow.
Littlemiss and Mrs F off into town on the train to see someone else at the book festival. Littlemiss got her book signed by the author .
Went down the road to feed cattle tonight as they have been getting neglected over the last few days. Went home via Bonnyrigg to look the wheat straw that they were busy combining, but it isn't fit to bale yet.
Have driven past this lonely sunflower for days now. It is in a neighbour's field of beans , must have been a stray seed in the batch. Brightens things up a bit. Pity it won't have seen much sun this summer though .
