Sunny afternoon

The end of this week sees our wedding anniversary, and this rose is called Golden Wedding, it was a present to us on that occasion from our family, a few years ago now. It isn't the strongest of plants but it is a lovely rose.
Wonderful sunny day for the bank holiday. Out in the garden I could hear people nearby, enjoying their gardens. Children laughing, happy chat from parents, the occasional thump of a football. There was an appetising smell of barbecue.
We had our usual Sunday roast, a very small half shoulder of lamb, and enjoyed eating outside. No wasps as yet this year. Also, strangely, we have had no greenfly either!
