A hot day

Today has been hot. Too hot to go and look round a fireplace warehouse with several woodburners throwing out more heat. Too hot to decide to clear out and reorganise the cupboard under the stairs. Too hot to go wandering round a DIY store looking for pipe insulation. Too hot to be crawling around under the stairs insulating pipes. Too hot to be taking a carload of heavy stuff down to the tip. And too hot for laying a few tiles in the understairs cupboard and putting everything back in. Yes, too hot for anything like that. But we did it anyway.

It's not too hot to walk up to the village pub where there is live music and street food. We might do that too.
