In the thick of it

All day in Campbeltown for the Campbeltown Youth team (white) debut in the Dumbarton league. A good start as they beat Summerston in Glasgow 9-7. Always lots of goals scored in these matches as the 11 year olds are playing on a full size pitch with full size goals for the first time. An excellent and fairly evenly matched game with a good focused ref. KK in the centre here managed 1 goal so seemed pleased with himself

I got on much better with my 75-300 lens because I had loads of light so was able to use a fast shutter speed.

Off out tonight to book group where we are reading "The Paying Guest" which I quite enjoyed. A bit of escapism and not too heavy.
