Phantom fans

To Edinburgh Playhouse, for the Phantom of the Opera press night with EdiSteve. I've never seen the show, but it was a good evening. I understand the touring show is a little less grand than the version that was on the London stage, with the chandelier not dropping on the audience, but said lighting was still most exceeding impressive - we're not talking IKEA Fillsta lamp here. The singing was amazing, the staging superb, the orchestra sound sumptuous.

And in terms of presentation, the front of staff lads are now even more fetching, in black kilts, while the Overtures bar has been revamped as The Boards - snazzy.

None of these things are in my picture - it's my pals, from left, Sarah, Paul and Sandra. They're stars too!
