Experiment
Inspired by an artist who made silk paper encapsulating flowers, leaves, shells and embellished with some stitching, my friend and I had a go, however without silk fibre. We improvised with cottonwool which makes a good substitute but not quite the same and I added seed head gathered mainly at the last minute from the garden. They are held captive by wool tops. It is, I think, quite a successful first attempt. I'm hoping to try with silk sometime.
