Kookaburra

Sick bay update – no good at all.  Lexi’s Mum & Dad called the ambulance at 1.30 this morning, her temperature had reached 41 and her breathing was very laboured and “scary”.  They gave her a dose of Child Nurefen and by the time the Ambulance arrived she was sleeping soundly on her Dad with her temperature down a little.  He checked her for any rashes (meningitis) and talked with her Mum & Dad.  But today, she has been a bundle of misery.  If we thought yesterday was bad, today has been much worse. She has drifted in and out of sleep either on Mum & Dad all day....eaten nothing and drunk very little.  They are going to take her back to out patients again in the morning for a further checkup.
On a slightly brighter note, she appears a little better tonight.
Further sick bay update – Her Dad is now crook, I’m still a misery, Doug good – her two cousins, Uncle & Grandad Bob went back to the mainland this afternoon.
