Remembering their pal

This bench was dedicated to the memory of a 14 year old boy who dropped dead on the football field onto which it looks. As you can see there is obviously some sort of anniversary going on.

As I walked by the bench yesterday (twice) there must have been numbers of up to 30 young folk all chatting and sitting around the bench. They were writing cards and taking selfies - remembering their pal.

Today there's not an empty paper bag, no mess, nothing. I think young folk are too easily categorised as causing trouble - it's unfair.

Weather: overcast; 20 degrees c; tshirt weather;  clammy day.
