A Writer's Life

Totobus

Oli's speech has greatly improved in the last 6 months, but some words still trip him, especially when they have more than three syllables. And a double consonant.

We had a lovely morning at a street fair. Oli "fished", played in a castle, and enjoyed a nice lunch. Henri was all up for the fun, cooing in his stroller.

Big firsts today:
Henri took public transit for the first time. He wasn't so sure, but didn't hate it.

Olivier managed to do all poop and pee in the potty for the first time at home today, including at the restaurant, and stayed dry during his nap.

And I succeeded in changing the mother of all poonamis when Henri's diaper exploded at the restaurant. There was no space in the bathroom, so the stroller served as a changing table. No customer were able to see the disaster. No bad.

But I've lost my voice. Oli looks at me with confusion every time I try to talk, and has asked me to speak many times. Apparently, I need rest. Ha! There's just so much of that here!
