Silly Saturday

So today we had our annual picnic at the park with our Chinese Cultural Club. After the wonderful luncheon - which was catered by a local Chinese Restaurant with additional food items from our members, we played silly games. I decided to participate in the game: pick beans with a chop stick. How difficult can that be, you may ask. So the answer is that I got 3 and the winner got 10 in so... .many seconds. Isn't this silly or not? not just the game but that I joined all the Chinese friends, who had so much more practice etc. and probably learned how to use them since childhood. I picked those up in the sixties in Germany, where my mother would take me to a special treat: Spring rolls.
