Never knew Jack, but I've met UK dentists

Went to the torturer today. Some @?>~,#';&*%$£ messed up worked on a tooth a year ago. It was very painful (because of his patronising incompetence). I never looked forward to a visit to the dentist, but it was never an issue during the more than 40 years I had work done on my teeth. Now I am really scared and are extremey nervous and tearful while I have to wait. (I actually started crying at the previous visit.) I must also say that C's treatment by the @'£ was also substandard & it was not the only bad experience we had with dentists in England. Poor C has a horror story to tell.

Anyway the tooth has not been right since the mess-up and the last few weeks it was permanetly sore. I chew a banana on that side by mistake the other day & nearly went through the roof. Well today the colleague looked, took and x-ray, looked at the x-ray, tapped all the teeth on the left side, looked again, played with the x-ray & said there's nothing wrong.

Is there somewhere in England a competent dentist? We're willing to travel.

Unfortunately we had the Ripper when Troll & Pixie were over for dinner last week. It would have been an appropriate drink to end this day.
